I and my wife have been saving to move to Lakeland. Nice weather, cordial people and lower cost of living than any other state. What can you ask for? Some of our friends are already living there. It is just a matter of time and sorting out several financial aspects before we get to live there.

Lakeland is a great city to relocate to because it is not that expensive of a city and still has great companies such as Publix. Also, Publix is bringing a lot more different companies to the area making it a great city to be in.

It makes you realize how much accommodation impacts your budget – it is often worth getting storage for some of your things and getting a smaller place, to enjoy the huge weight off your bill load.

I moved to Lakeland about 4 years ago from Boston. It took getting used to, but I love it now. Only 30 minutes from the Casino too!
