Would be fine with me, just as long as they keep showing up in my Twitterfox app for Firefox! How many people have blown off twitter as a “might be useful” to “this thing is a stupid waste of time” application? Troglodytes.
I mean come on. We’re rock solid slammed to the gills with work most of the time, and the idea of picking up the phone to say hello (wait, where IS my phone?) is a bit too much to process when we’re crunching on a deadline.

The tweets we release (not a scatological reference, folks) give us brief moments of Zen by which we can reach out and touch, smack, nudge, or query our followers and then wait to see who’s out there as we scamper forward with our work load like screaming chimps! (Fast Money Reference)
AND FOLLOWERS! I just love it. I suppose the good folks at Twitter could have dubbed the people who give 2 cents about what we’re up to “minions,” but that would have overdone it a bit. I like followers just fine. I mean, who doesn’t want a following? I’m’ sure I’ve had my 15 minutes of fame via Blip.tv or Youtube by now without even knowing it – darned middle schoolers! So a following, regardless of how small (I now have a whopping 14) is a nice piece of tangible proof that my inane “mini-rants” are being received by a few folks. The dogs sure don’t care to hear them!
But how does Twitter factor into our business lives. Well – I just caught word from Lee Le Fever (via Twitter) that CNN is alive and kicking on Twitter. CNN even managed to beat Obama to the punch by scooping him on his own announcement re: bringing on Sen. Joe Biden as his Vice Presidnetial Candidate.

Kevin,
I think what you are doing with your blog and Twitter is a great example for other professional service providers to follow. Not only does your blog contain so much valuable information but through social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter you have made yourself very accessible. The next time I have a question or need for a mortgage, I know how to find you.
