I have noticed so many agents I come into contact with are not savvy about online marketing. Maybe one problem is that it takes a willingness to change from the old ways of sales. I myself have a difficult time enjoying Facebook, even though I know I could send out a multitude of friendship invitations to previous clients and leads who weren’t ready to buy yet. It seems silly that I done it.

Kevin, your view on building up a brand is really good. The only problem is that it is stinking tough to build up a brand that people remember. It tends to be easier (at least online) to build up your own name as the brand, people tend to remember a friend’s name before they remember a brand. What do you think?

Great stuff. Today many individual real estate agencies, real estate groups and even some portals upload their property to Google who then in turn integrate those listings into Google Maps. Google also make their data available for anybody who wants it through an api interface…
