Realtors, friends and family always ask me why I feel blogging is important to my Florida mortgage business.
So, I’m taking this opportunity to try and answer what has become a pretty common question.
I Blog…
So I won’t have to cold call you via my Blackberry Crackberry during your precious and ever-fleeting moments of “family at the dinner table” time.
I Blog…
So I don’t work against my own sense of decency and bug the ever living crap out of you by asking you if you’ve considered refinancing your home, vacation home, Airstream, Port-0-Let, or anything else that might even remotely qualify as a residence.
I Blog…
Because you would hate me if I stuffed your mailbox with countless post-card mailings, form letters, and rate sheets. And finally…
I Blog…
Because I just don’t have the time or intestinal fortitude to swing by my local Krispy Kreme vendor en route to a local Realtor’s office for one of those “friendly drive-bys visits” they love so much.

Bonita Springs Realtor is an RE Blogging PRO and… a Social Media Maven!
Chris Griffith (aka: @twitterzilla) sent out a tweet recently that answered the “Why is a Florida Mortgage Broker Blogging Anyway?” question in way that bears posting right here on The Florida Mortgagee Blogger.
It’s a YouTube video put out by some incredibly creative folks over at Hubspot - you know, the ones responsible for Twitter Grader? It came to her by way of Bill Lublin at BuzzBuilderz – a company that has tasked itself (successfully it seems) with the social media directed mission to:
[Help] businesses and individuals create a ripple effect, where each action creates continued sequences of events increasing the impact and recognition of the person or business involved. – About Us Section @ BuzzBuilderz.com
Basically – these guys will help you set a social media machine in motion that will have your phones ringing off the hook with inbound leads – all without placing a single nasty…. oh, and i mean N-A-S-T-Y cold call!
So Alright Already! Get on with it, Kevin! Show Us the Stinkin’ Video!
OK, OK… I’m going to stop yakin’ and get on with the video. Hope you enjoy. Warning – you may want to make a pit stop at the “potty place” before watching…it’s a real knee slapper!
